Thomas A. Doolittle

Thomas Arthur Doolittle passed away suddenly at his home in Lakewood, Co. on January 23, 2013. He was 58 years old. He is survived by his beloved sister, Frances E. Kattwinkel, his extended family Rebecca A. Deyling (niece), William J. Gray (nephew), David J. Wilcox (Nephew), Deanna Elizabeth Deyling (Great niece), Jonah Matthew Deyling (Great Nephew), Olivia Violet Deyling (great niece), Antoinette Frances Gray (great niece), Missie DeCelle Wilcox (sister-in-law) brothers -in-law John A. Kattwinkel and Matthew Deyling. He also leaves behind his constant faithful companion, his cat Eliza.

Thomas was predeceased by his life-long partner, John Lasley, who passed away October of 2009.

Thomas was a member of the United States Navy. He served as a Hospitalman and was honorably discharged on October 30, 1974.

Thomas was born in Binghamton, New York. He moved to Florida in the late 1970's, where he resided until moving to Colorado in 2010.

He was employed by I.B.M. Corporation as a computer technician. He had a promising career with I.B.M. until an accident on the job left him disabled.

He developed a great fondness of antiques and quickly became very knowledgeable about their history and worth. Antiques became a lifelong and enjoyable hobby of his. Antique clocks were his favorite.

His most enjoyable times were spent with his family. He was a loving brother, uncle, brother-in-law and friend. His passing has left a whole in our family and he will be greatly missed by us all.
