A loving wife, mother, sister, daughter, grandmother and great-grandmother, Virginia will be fondly remembered for her kind spirit and caring heart. In her youth, she enjoyed ice skating, camping, and fishing with her husband and children, feeling the most joy in the outdoors with the ones she loved. She was especially fueled by her love for animals, her dachshunds as well as Hummingbirds in particular, and she had a very strong spirit and kept with her old-fashioned manners- giving respect to everyone and expecting it from those around her, and her kind heart made that an easy expectation.
Virginia was the family caretaker and always put everyone before herself, coming to the aid of all family who were in need. When it was her turn to be cared for, all of her nurses and caretakers would make it known just how much they cherished her kind heart, leaving no doubt that she was loved by everyone. She leaves behind her family and her Mountair Christian church community in Edgewater, of which she was a long-time parishioner.
She will be laid to rest with her husband, Ray N. Hindman, at Fort Logan National Cemetery.
Rest in eternal peace, Virginia. You will be missed deeply by all.
