He was born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania on August 25, 1929, and was married to Catherine M. Kello on August 10, 1970.
He lived in Cheyenne, Wyoming for 47 years from 1963-2010.
William had a career at the United States Post Office, to which he retired from in 1985. 29 years prior to that he served in the United States Air Force, and served in the Korean War. He was a member of the American Legion and had a passion for Golfing, the Pittsburgh Steelers and most importantly his family.
William is survived by his son Gregg Kello, and his daughter Barbara Thayer; his grandchildren Stefanie Kello, Zachary Thayer, Joshua Kello, and Jonathan Kello. William is preceded in death by his brothers Joseph, Walter, Frank, Paul, and Richard; and his sisters Pearl Kuntz, and Marianne Appel.
Services will be held at the Fort Logan National Cemetery on Thursday November 16, 2017 at 11:15 a.m. Please meet the family at staging area "C" at 11:00 a.m. should you wish to attend the services.
