Albert Izzillo, age 93, of Fruitland Park, Florida passed away on Thursday June 21, 2018 at the Ocean Medical Center in Brick, NJ. Albert was born March 20, 1925 in Jersey City, NJ, and he was the son of the late Anthony and Louise Izzillo. Albert was retired from the New York City Department of Waterway Bridges. He was a US Navy Veteran of World War II and participated in the Utah Beach deployment of the Normandy invasion. Albert was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars. He was a camping enthusiast and loved to travel with his late wife. Husband of the late Joan (Butcher) Izzillo, and grandfather of the late Michael Bedus, Jr., he is survived by his three children, Louise Bedus and her husband Michael, Sandy Hall and her husband Bob, and Diana Napoli and her husband Gregory; a brother, Aldo Izzillo of Long Island, NY; and four grandchildren, Dawn Baker, Lorrieanne Clark, Brian Hall, and Donald Bedus; 13 great-grandchildren; and 7 great-great-grandchildren.
