Born and raised in France, he resided in Freehold before settling in Toms River 14 years ago.
Prior to retiring, he was the proprietor and salesman for AlRox Enterprises, manufacturing selling machines and machine parts to other companies.
Albert was predeceased by wife, Karen in 1992.
Surviving is a son, Philippe and his wife Nicole of Brick; a daughter, Nicole Roux of Rutherford; 2 grandchildren: Jake & Lindsay Roux; his companion of 20 years, Carol Gilmore; and many other family members in France.
Albert loved gardening and had all different types of flowers in his yard; he was also an avid ballroom dancer and ran a Wednesday night social dance at the Knights of Columbus in Freehold.
A memorial gather will be held on Tuesday from 6-9PM at D’Elia Funeral Home, 1300 Vermont Ave., Lakewood. A memorial service will be held in during the visitation at 7:30PM.
