Alice Martin

Mrs. Martin was born and raised in Brooklyn, N.Y., before moving to Jersey City and later North Arlington, N.J., before finally settling in Lakewood, N.J., for the past 20 years. She was an avid Mahjong player. She was a loving aunt and grand aunt and will be greatly missed by all.

Mrs. Martin is predeceased by her husband Robert Martin, daughter Susanne Martin, son Michael Martin and sister Joan (Dempsey) Calicchio.

Alice is survived by her longtime companion, Pete Baratta; nieces Linda Wagner and her husband Michael and Lisa Botros and her husband Mina; nephew Dominick Calicchio; grandniece Susanne Jorge and grandnephews Peter and Andrew Botros; and great-grandniece Jocelyn Jorge.

A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 30, 2017, at Holy Cross Cemetery, 340 Ridge Road, North Arlington, NJ 07031. Arrangements are under direction of D’Elia Funeral Home, 1300 Vermont Ave., Lakewood, NJ 08701.
