My father's unwavering love and devotion inspired us deeply. He had a profound impact on his children, grandchildren, and our extended family. He embodied the true spirit of a family man. He was the glue that held our family together, and we are forever grateful. Though he took a piece of our hearts with him, he left an indelible mark on our lives. We will treasure the beautiful memories he created for us. Till we meet again papi! We will continue to celebrate your life and legacy. We love you and miss you! This song is called: “Jerusalen Que Bonita Eres.” In English it means, “Jerusalem How Beautiful You Are.” I use to sing this song to my dad when I was little and he use to love it! I sang it to him again before he went to be with our Lord. This reel is dedicated to my dad - my guardian angel!

Aside from my Heavenly Father, my earthly father has been a source of unwavering strength and inspiration! He has stood by me through life's triumphs and tribulations, offering guidance, encouragement, and unconditional love. He is not only my father but also my trusted counselor, confidant, and best friend. 

During the darkest moments of my life, including my divorce, he was a steady presence, listening attentively to my concerns and offering words of comfort. His empathy and compassion knew no bounds, and he shared in my grief, even shedding tears with me over the phone. In that moment, my pain became his, just as our Heavenly Father feels our pain and sorrows. 

I remember every time he would hear me cry, he would always say: “Don’t worry nena, that today you are crying but tomorrow you will be laughing.” And He was right! 

God's wisdom is evident in choosing him as my father, for He makes no mistakes! While my father, like all of us, has made mistakes, he has emerged stronger and wiser, his faith in Jesus transforming him into an exceptional father. To God be the glory! 

I am immensely proud of the man he became, and if I had to choose anyone to be my father, I would choose him time and time again! I will love you forever, Papi, and cherish the memories we've shared. You will always be in my heart and I will never forget you!

My dad with his granddaughter, Annabella, when she was little. He adored her! When she was a baby he use to play music, carry her in his arms around the house, dancing with her. He also taught her the "linda manita" song where he had her shake her hand side by side while he sang the song. She use to chuckle. She loved it! and he adored his Bella!

This was the last group picture taken with my dad, my mom and my 5 children/their grandchildren.

I use to sing this song to my dad when I was little and he use to love it - I sang it again to him right before he went to be with the Lord. When my father died that day, a part of me died with him. He died in my arms — I saw him take his last breath  shortly after I sang this song to him, and my life will never be the same after that day. He was my hero, my best friend, my counselor, the one I would always go to first when my heart was broken or I just simply wanted to share good news. He was my rock, my strength, my protector and an amazing listener. He always made me feel calm and at peace. He had a gift. After loosing my father, the pain that he left deep within my soul, I do not wish on anyone. It’s like a piece of my heart is missing. The sun no longer shines as bright as it use to. The sky is no longer as clear and blue. The flowers don’t bloom as gracefully. My smile has lost its spark and my life now has a different tone to it. My father was my gift from God. He made everything brighter and more meaningful. I know he was 90 years old, lived a long life and I know nothing last forever. I am grateful to God for the time that He let me borrow him. But he was still my father, the person who brought me to this world and showed me the true meaning of unconditional love. I was always daddy’s little girl. The apple of his eye and I selfishly wanted him by my side till the end of time. I wanted us to go to Heaven together, when Jesus returned.  I know my father is in heaven now rejoicing with Jesus — no more pain, no more tears, and no more sorrow. I know that I will see him again one day —That’s the hope that us believers have to look forward to. However, my dad permanently left a void in my heart that only my Heavenly Father will be able to fill one day. Thank you for the beautiful memories papi and for always being my guiding light in my darkest hours. I will forever be indebted to you. I love you papi beyond the kingdom of Heaven. See you soon, one day!
