Andrew Michael Kolibas, age 65, of Toms River, NJ, passed away on Saturday June 1, 2019, at the Ocean Medical Center in Brick, New Jersey . Andrew was the son of the late Andrew and Virginia Kolibas, and he was born July 23, 1953 in Newark, NJ. Andrew was a former resident of Bloomfield and Hazlet, prior to moving to Toms River 7 years ago. Andrew was a technician for Verizon and retired after over 42 years of service. Andrew enjoyed fishing, and he is fondly remembered as being handy for those who needed assistance friends, family and those he just met. Brother of the late Steve Kolibas, he is survived by his beloved wife of 7 years, Bridget; three children, Erica Kolibas and her husband Stuart Ligo, Stephanie Kolibas and her companion Rita Quick, and John Kolibas; his brother, Ray Kolibas and his wife Debby; a niece, Samantha Fairchild and her husband Tim; and a nephew, Zachary Kolibas; and numerous extended family. There will be memorial visitation at the D'Elia Funeral Home, 1300 Vermont Avenue, Lakewood, NJ on Friday, from 2 to 4 & 7 to 9 p.m. His funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday in St. Luke's Church, 1674 Old Freehold Road, Toms River, NJ 08755. Committal services will be private.
