No words can express my affection and appreciation for Aunt Anna. Her husband, Tony, was the first of my wife’s family to embrace me and welcome a Texan to NJ. After returning to TX, Aunt Anna came to be with us for the births of our children allowing Denise to focus on her babies while Aunt Anna cleaned, did laundry, cooked and cleaned some more... and could she ever cook. We continue to enjoy her recipes to this day.
Aunt Anna never knew a stranger, was kind but would always speak with truth. She maintained correspondence with my mother and father even when she could not physically write anymore…. She had Michael pen the words. Her kindness and heart, I can never repay nor match.
Heaven gained a remarkable angel… and no doubt the Hosts are enjoying fine Italian cuisine.
Fly high little lady.
With love, Dwain
