Anne M. Hills

Anne M Hills, age 94, of Lakewood, New Jersey passed away on Monday, January 23, 2023 at Harrogate Health Center, Lakewood,NJ . Anne was born on December 23, 1928 in Trenton, NJ and she was the daughter of the late Anne M (Schwing) and John L. Hills. She was a long time resident of Ewing, NJ before moving to Harrogate. Prior to its closing Anne was an active member and Volunteer at St. Francis of Assisium Church in Trenton. She enjoyed and treasured the privilege of being a voting member of the 4th Synod of the Diocese of Trenton. Anne retired from the Department of Labor and Industry after many dedicated years. Anne loved to visit Long Beach Island, NJ. Anne was predeceased by her sisters; Grace Marie Hills & Marie E. Gavigan Anne is survived by her Nephew; John Patrick Gavigan; two nieces Elizabeth Anne Popgoshev and Kathleen Marie Sheldon; a grandnephew, Edward L Sheldon (Stephanie), a grandniece, Anne Marie Bravo (James) and many cousins. Visitation will be on Thursday, January 26th, 2023 from 10:30 -11:30 am at D'Elia Funeral Home located at 1300 Vermont Ave, Lakewood, NJ 08701. Her Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 12:00pm at St. Mary of the Lake Church; 43 Madison Ave, Lakewood, NJ 08701. Entombment will follow at Our Lady of Lourdes Cemetery Mausoleum in Hamilton, NJ.
