Born in Elizabeth, N.J., he lived in Edison, N.J. for many years before moving to Lakewood.
Anthony served his country in the United States Air Force during the Korean war.
He had worked for many years at Western Electric in Newark before his retirement many years ago.
Anthony is survived by his wife, Ida Alfieri, two sons; Salvatore Alfieri and his wife, Regina and MIchael Alfieri and his wife, Donna, six grandchildren; Dante Alfieri and his wife, Sibel, Vincent Alfieri and his wife, Victoria, Salvatore Alfieri and his fiancée, Kayla Whittemore, Anthony Alfieri and his wife, Cristina, Victor Alfieri and Brielle Alfieri, and two great-grandchildren, Leonardo Alfieri and Dominic Alfieri. He is also survived by many other family members and friends.
A memorial mass will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, December 19, 2019 at St. Dominic's R.C. Church, 250 Old Squan Road. Brick, N.J. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, 14 Commerce Drive, Suite #301, Cranford, N.J. 07016. www.lls.org
