Born in Newark, he resided in Union and Irvington before settling in Lakewood 16 years ago.
Prior to retiring in 1989, he was a Mason for Local #4 Bricklayers Union in Livingston, where he worked for over 30 years.
He is survived by his loving wife of 63 years, Dorothy; 2 children: Michele Maloney and her husband James of Highland Park and Jeffrey and his wife Yasmin of Reston, VA; 2 grandchildren: Jason Hubert and Larla Dey Maloney; and a great-granddaughter, Hailey Hubert.
Hank was an avid tennis player. He also loved Jersey jazz music and belonged to the Jersey Jazz Club in Ocean County.
Funeral services will be held on Friday at 10:30AM at D’Elia Funeral Home, Rte. 70 & Vermont Ave., Lakewood.
