Armandine "Nickie" Taylor

She was born in New York, NY and has lived in Lakewood for many years.

First and foremost, "Nan" as our family called her was the most amazing wife, mother, grandmother, mother-in-law, and sister-in-law. She would do anything for her family and she will be terribly missed by all who knew her and if you did something wrong everyone would say "Don't tell Nan".

Nickie was a stellar secretary for the Jackson Township Board School System before her retirement.

Since her retirement, she has spent countless years volunteering her time to many clubs Leisure Village. She was called "Mrs. Leisure Village" and everyone there knew her at one time or another.

Nickie is survived by her husband of 68 years, Walter Taylor, a son, Gary Taylor, a daughter, Tracy Schwiebert, a son-in-law, Mark Schwiebert, a daughter-in-law, Heidi Taylor, a brother, Shamir, three grandchildren, Holly Schwiebert, Zachary Taylor and Kylie Taylor.

Relatives and friends may visit from 2-5 p.m. on Saturday, July 10, 2021 at the D'Elia Funeral Home, 1300 Vermont Avenue, Lakewood, N.J. A funeral service will begin at 5:00 p.m. and cremation will be private.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude's Children's Hospital or the ASPCA.

We will miss you so much. Now you will have to go up to Heaven and do some organizing. Rest in peach our sweet "Nan/"Nickie."
