
Barbara was born in Harlem N.Y on August 21, 1953,her mother Vonzolia Wynn and her father Sidney Howard. She was the only child.
Her mother Vonzolia Wynn, took the responsibility of taking care of Barbara up until she grew up.
Barbara graduated from Benjamin Franklin High School, she attended Hunter College, she realized she had a gift of taking pictures, she decided to attend Germain Photography,after Barbara graduated, she worked as a freelance photographer.
In 1977 Barbara was in a workfare program, which she was hired by the City of New York in the Human Resource Administration an an Office Aide and then later became a Bookkeeper for the Bureau of Child Support,Barbara acquired the knowledge and experience to help clients, She worked there for 34 years, then retired
In 1981 Barbara lost her mother in March, she then got married on June 15, which was also her mothers birthday to Greg Hall.
Barbara gave birth to her two lovely girls Vonzolia and Geneva.
Barbara loved her family and would do anything for them.
Barbara was living in New York, but she loved New Jersey. She found a house in Lakewood, NJ to fit all of the family's needs, she told the real estate broker to make the deal.Barbara loved to wheel an deal, when it came to cars and home repairs.
Barbara enjoyed living in Lakewood,.with her family,they always ha a traditional celebration, dinner an a movie, she loved Apple bees and Red Lobster.At New Years, they would have a Seafood celebration,She loved driving, watching sports and cookinking shows on TV,and bowling, which she won many awards,with the exception of her husband singing, she loved whitney Houston, Adele,Celine Dion, stephanie Mills and Luther Vandross, she also loved talking on the phone for hours.
In the past few month she was ill in the hospital,her last words were “I want to go home”
On May 20th, the angels brought her home, She wanted her family and friends to sit in the backyard to spend time with her, inside and outside ,part of barbara is in that house in Lakewood,N.J
She will always be loved and remembered, because she loved so many people.
A visitation for Barbara will be held Sunday, June 4, 2023 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at D'Elia Funeral Home, Route 70 & Vermont Avenue, Lakewood, NJ 08701, followed by a funeral service from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM.
