Carlos A. Diaz, 70, passed away October 31, 2014 at Kimball Medical Center in Lakewood. Mr. Diaz was born and raised in Peru. He worked as an economist for many years for the Peruvian Government. Recently he moved to New Jersey for the past 15 years. He enjoyed making jokes, singing, watching the Discovery Chanel and his favorite hobby was spending time with his grandchildren. He was a loving father, father-in-law, son and brother and will be greatly missed by all. Mr. Diaz is survived by his children, Giancarlo Diaz and his wife Carla and Johanna Pizarro and her husband Daniel, daughter-in-law, Gisella Fernandez, grandchildren, Daniel, Leah, Sebastian, Alexandra, Nicholas and Kiara, mother, Matilde BarDales, and siblings, Carmen, Elizabeth, Coqui and Arturo. Friends may call Saturday, November 8,, 2014 from 1-4 at the D’Elia Funeral Home Rt. 70 & Vermont Ave. Lakewood, NJ 08701. Cremation will be private.
