Carmen Delia Carrasquillo Lopez

Carmen Delia Lopez, age 64, of Toms River, NJ passed away Tuesday, August 9, 2011 at her residence in Toms River, NJ. She was born in Caguas, Puerto Rico on May 7, 1947. Carmen is the daughter of Inez (Zayas) and the late Andres Carrasquillo. She was a resident of Toms River for over 20 years. Carmen was a retired professional hair stylist and cosmetician who retired after working with the Smartstyle Family Hair Salon in Kissimmee, Florida. Carmen was the mother of the late Wilfredo Lopez, Jr. and the late Jose I. Lopez. She was the grandmother of the late Roy E. Lopez. She is survived by her daughters, Diana Lopez and Aracely Lopez; her mother, Inez; five siblings, Andrea Carrasquillo, Gladys Carrasquillo, Evelyn Carrasquillo, Hiberto Carrasquillo, and Hector Carrasquillo; and five grandchildren, Jesus Roque, Gloribel Roque, Liz D. Lopez, Jaylene K. Trilla, and Janelle D. Trilla. Her funeral mass will be celebrated at the St. Mary of The Lake Church, 43 Madison Avenue, Lakewood, NJ 08701 on Friday, August 12, 2011 at 10:30 a.m. Burial will follow in the parish cemetery.
