Carmine Ainora

Carmine Ainora, 90, passed away November 13, 2015 after a short illness at Centra State Medical Center in Freehold. Mr. Ainora was born and lifelong resident of Hackensack, NJ before settling in Lakewood for the past 16 years. He served in the US Army during World War II in the Pacific. He was the owner/operator of the Ainora Barber Shop in Hackensack for many years and he worked for Herald and Company in Maywood for many years as a real estate agent. Carmine and his wife Theodora were accomplished ballroom dancers and Carmine continued his passion into retirement by joining a Ballroom Dancing Club in Toms River along with a Tennis Club. He was a loving husband and father and will be greatly missed by all. Mr. Ainora is predeceased by his Brother, Alfred Ainora. Carmine is survived by his wife of 65 years, Theodora and children, Thomas Ainora and Catherine Ainora. Memorial Gathering will be held on Sunday, November 15, 2015 from 12-2 pm at the D’Elia Funeral Home 1300 Vermont Ave. Lakewood, NJ 08701. Cremation will be held privately.
