Catherine Mary LaFata, age 80, of Lakewood, passed away Monday, February 7, 2011 at the Kimball Medical Center in Lakewood, NJ. She was born in New York and was a former Executive Secretary for the Marine Midland Bank. Wife of the late Paul LaFata, she is survived by her two children, Catherine LaFata of Las Vegas, NV and Thomas DiBiasi of Staten Island, NY. Her funeral mass will be 9:15 a.m. Friday at St. Luke's Church, 1674 Old Freehold Road, Toms River, NJ. Burial will be at 1:00 p.m. at St. Charles Cemetery, Farmingdale, NY.
