Catherine Veronica Zanetich

Catherine is predeceased by her son Anthony and her beloved husband of 43 years, Daniel.

She is survived by her loving children, Michelle Mullan (Rich), Nicholas (Jess) Zanetich, and Melissa (Art) Linko. She was blessed with 7 grandchildren: Conor (Briana), Danny, Riley, Sarah, Toby, Alison, and Isabel. Catherine is also survived by her sister Patricia Demarest, her brother Tim Dugan, cousins Sally (Anthony) Arnone and Eileen Ruiz; as well as in-laws Tom (Lynne) Zanetich, Nick (Ria) Zanetich, and Donna (Dave) Baccarini. She leaves behind many nieces, nephews and extended family and lifelong friends.

Catherine overcame her battle with breast cancer and was a 37 year breast cancer survivor. She loved participating in the Making Strides for Breast Cancer walk each October. She was an active volunteer at New Jersey Head Start Association and loved her time with the little ones.

You could often find her at her grandchildren’s events as she was their biggest fan. She also loved playing cards and board games, and making chocolate chip cookies. Her greatest joy in life was her family.

A Viewing will be held on Wednesday, October 23rd from 4:00pm -8:00pm at D'Elia Funeral Home; 1300 Vermont Ave, Lakewood, NJ 08701. A Funeral Mass will take place on Thursday, October 24th at 10:30 am at the St. Mary of the Lake Church located at 43 Madison Ave, Lakewood, NJ 08701
