Christine "Chris" Emerizy passed away on 11/18/2023 at home with her wife, Karen Moylan. They've been together for 47 years, legally married for ten years. Devoted grandmother of Marissa Emerizy and great grandmother of Jodi and Zayden Emerizy. Predeceased by her parents Fred and Esther Emerizy and sister, Caroline. Chris was born in Englewood NJ and resided in Toms River, NJ for the past 4 years after her retirement from teaching PE for Englewood BOE. She was a Dog Obedience & Rally trainer for many years and a devoted owner of multiple dogs and various pets over the years. She was a member of First Dog Training Club and treasurer for Poodle Obedience Training Club. She's been active in Good Shepherd ARCC.Funeral Services will be at that church, 1890 Whitesville Rd, Toms River, NJ 08755 at 11:00 am on 11/29/2023.
