Constance Sblendorio

Constance “Connie” Sblendorio, 89, passed away unexpectedly on September 15, 2023. Connie was a member of the Lake Ridge Community in Toms River, NJ. She was born in the old “South Brooklyn” by immigrant parents from Naples, Italy. Connie grew up with a very tight family bond with her parents, identical twin sister Rosalie, older brother Guy (deceased), and younger sister Millie.

Connie’s first job was as a stenographer for the New York Life Insurance Company. Next, she worked as an administrative assistant for HSBC and lastly as an HR specialist for Staten Island Savings Bank.

Connie was warm and generous and had a smile and kind words for everyone she met. She was beloved in every community where she lived or worked. Connie was a loving wife (66 years) to her late husband, Donato “Danny”, loving mother of Daniel (wife Margaret), Angela and Joe. Loving grandmother of Joanna and Dan (wife Janellie).

A visitation will be held on Thursday, September 21, 2pm-5pm and on Friday from 9am-10am at D'Elia Funeral Home, Lakewood. A funeral mass will be held on Friday, September 22 at 10:30am at St. Luke's RC Church, Toms River. Burial will follow at St. Mary of the Lake Cemetery, Lakewood.
