Daniel F. Hood, 54, passed away May 28, 2013 at Kimbal Medical Center in Lakewood. Mr. Hood was born in Neptune, raised in Howell and lived in Lakewood for many years. He was self employed as a general contractor. Daniel loved to golf and fish and was an avid Yankees and Giants Fan. Mr. Hood loved all the people in his life very much. He was a loving husband, son and uncle and will be greatly missed by all. Mr. Hood is survived by his wife Linda, mother, Patricia Hood, sister Joyce Rudolph, brother Richard Hood, Nephews, Patrick, Christopher, Matthew and RJ, niece, Alisa, his family and friends at Ocean Lanes and his beloved cats, “The Children” Rascal and Axel. Friends visit Saturday, June 8, 2013 from 10a-12p pm at the D’Elia Funeral Home Rt. 70 & Vermont Ave. Lakewood, NJ 08701. Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, June 8, 2013 at 12 Noon at the funeral home. Cremation will be private. In lieu of flowers please make donations in Daniel’s memory to Feeding America.
