

Dante “Danny” Argenti, 91, passed away September 17, 2016 at his home in Manchester. Mr. Argenti was born and raised in New York City, before moving to the Bronx where he raised his family and finally settling in Manchester for the past 12 years. Danny served in the US Navy during World War II, on the Charles J. Badger 657 Destroyer in the South Pacific. He retired from the NYC District Council Carpenters union as a Carpenter. Later in life he worked as a general contractor in NYC. Mr. Argenti loved playing pool, cards, Atlantic City Trips, spending time with his loving family and was known for his meatballs and sauce. He was a loving father and brother-in-law and will be greatly missed by all. Mr. Argenti is predeceased by his wife Theresa Kilduff, siblings Bengy Argenti, Geepo Argenti, Aida Cervone, Nesta Pascuzzo, Cissy Granata, Frankie Argenti, Connie Cardona, Marietta Phillips, Eddie Argenti and Charles Argenti. Danny is survived by his daughters, Karen Argenti and Doreen Argenti, sister-in-law, Joan Kilduff, brother-in-law, Jack Murphy, many nieces, nephews and friends. A Visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 21, 2016, from 2 p..m. to 4 p.m., and 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. at D'Elia Funeral Home, 1300 Vermont Avenue, Lakewood, NJ 08701. His funeral service will be Thursday September 22, 2016, 10:45 a.m., at The Church of Elizabeth Ann Seton, 30 Schoolhouse Road, Whiting, NJ 08759. Burial will follow at The William C. Doyle Veterans Administration Cemetery, 350 Province Line Road, Wrightstown, NJ 08562.
