Denise Hennessey, age 61, of Toms River, New Jersey passed away on Thursday, January 11, 2024 at the home of her aunt in Staten Island, NY while under hospice care. Denise was born on November 6, 1962 in Manhattan, NY as the daughter of the late Barbara and Frank Sholin. She was a homemaker. Denise is the wife of her beloved late husband, Martin Thomas Hennessey, and she is survived by her aunts, cousins, extended family, and very dear friends. Relatives and friends will be received on Saturday, January 27, 2024 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at D'Elia Funeral Home, 1300 Vermont Avenue, Lakewood, NJ 08701. Her memorial service will be at 2:00 PM in the funeral home, followed by a graveside committal service in the First Baptist Church of Laurelton Cemetery, 1824 Route 88, Brick, NJ 08724, where she will be laid to rest with her late husband.
