Diane Elizabeth Violante, born on December 13, 1946, embarked on her final journey on September 13, 2023. She leaves behind a legacy of love, devotion, and cherished memories. Diane is survived by her loving husband, Joseph Violante, and their four children: Joe Violante (wife Trish), Caryn Kelly (husband Sean), Michael Violante (wife Andrea), and Dana Violante along with her beloved sister Mary Davis. Diane's vibrant spirit lives on through her six adored grandchildren: Alexis, Stephen, Joseph, Isabella, Evelyn, and Greyson.
Diane's life was a beautiful tapestry of community involvement and family bonds. She resided in the Fairways of Lakewood, NJ, where she was an active and beloved member of her community. Diane's passion for life was evident in her participation in activities such as bocce, bowling, and her membership in the Garden Club and Women's Club. She lent her time and talents as a committee member at her clubhouse, making lasting connections with those around her.
In her leisure, Diane cherished moments spent with friends, often engaging in card games while also enjoying her trips to Atlantic City. She was an avid traveler with a special fondness for cruises, exploring the world she so dearly loved. She found joy in having lunch with family and friends, browsing shops, reading and attending her grandchildren's sporting events. A connoisseur of life, she took pleasure in wine tasting; savoring the flavors of life's journey, but her greatest pleasures were the moments she spent with her family whether it was a backyard gathering, a birthday party, a holiday or a simple one on one conversation. Family time is what she relished the most and there was nothing more enjoyable.
Diane’s departure leaves a void in the hearts of those who knew her, but her memory will forever be a beacon of light, guiding us through the darkest moments.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Arthur and Mildred Hargreaves, her brother Arthur Hargreaves, and her brother-in-law Peter Davis.
Diane's legacy of love, laughter, and boundless enthusiasm for life will forever be etched in our hearts. As we bid her farewell, we remember the indelible mark she left on each of our lives. May she rest in eternal peace.
