

Dolores Urcinole, age 93, of Jackson, New Jersey passed away on Monday, September 29, 2025. Dolores was born in West New York, NJ and eventually settled in Palisades Park and Mahwah, before moving to Jackson where she lived for many years.
Dolores was an accomplished artist, winning numerous awards for her paintings, and participated in art shows and crafts shows. She worked in administration and as a bookkeeper. Her other interests included gardening, cooking, baking, dining out, watching cooking videos and movies, going to Atlantic City, socializing at the senior center and clubhouse, shopping, decorating for each holiday, playing cards and bingo, chatting on the phone, trying new foods, telling stories about the family, and spending time with her family. She also loved spending time Oneonta, NY in the past with her family.
Dolores always enjoyed spending her time at the Jackson Township Senior Center, where she had been President, and events from the Red Hats where she held a leadership position. Dolores ensured she went to church each weekend and prayed the rosary each day. She always prayed for everyone in need, and donated to charities. The most important thing to Dolores was her family, caring for others, and helping everyone.
Dolores was the soulmate and beloved wife of the late Paul for almost 72 years. She was the cherished daughter of the late Alfred and Anna Chiusano, and dear sister of the late Lorraine Gerichten. Dolores was the most devoted, loving, caring, and adoring mother, mother-in-law, and grandmother of Paul, Lynn, and Marisa. Marisa regarded Dolores as her role model. She was the cherished godmother of Elaine McCrystal, married to Stephen. Dolores is survived by many nieces, including Nancy Calaff married to Dennis, nephews, and cousins in her loving family, and friends who adored every minute with her. Everyone she met loved her so very much, and she had an incredible impact on their lives. Her personality was one of a kind, and she was incredibly knowledgeable.
A visitation for Dolores will be held Friday, October 3, 2025 from 4:00pm to 8:00pm at D'Elia Funeral Home, 1300 Vermont Ave, Lakewood, NJ 08701. A funeral service will occur Saturday, October 4th, beginning at 10:30 at D'Elia Funeral Home; 1300 Vermont Ave, Lakewood, NJ 08701. Interment will follow at Ocean County Memorial Park; 1722 Silverton Rd, Toms River, NJ.
Dolores is, and always will be, loved, cherished, and in our hearts forever.
