Doris was born in Staten Island, NY to parents George and Jeannette Brennan. She moved to Lakewood, NJ with her husband John and sons in 1965. She was a parishioner at Saint Mary of the Lake in Lakewood, NJ.
In earlier years she enjoyed attending bingo with her friends from church. She also enjoyed spending time with her all her grandchildren, attending their many sports games and events. She loved hosting the family for visits at her home, especially Christmas Eve. Doris was a lifelong fan of the New York Mets. She loved butterflies, her rose bushes and the color blue.
Doris was predeceased by her husband John, her son John, her siblings John, George and Kathy. She is survived by her sister Barbara, son Bruce and his wife Lori of Howell, her daughter-in-law Carol of Bayville, five grandchildren April and spouse Brad, TJ and spouse Jessica, Kayla, Tiffany and Matthew, and two great-grandchildren Lucas and James.
