

Dotty will always be remembered for her warmth and generosity. She welcomed everyone with open arms.
She lived life with passion and joy, embracing every moment. A lifelong New York Yankees fan, Dotty also cherished her many trips to Atlantic City with her dear friend, Linda Clark. Above all, her greatest joy in life was being a grandmother. Her granddaughter, Zoe, was her pride and joy.
She was predeceased by her beloved husband, Douglas Maurice, and their son, Douglas J. Meloche. She was also preceded in death by her siblings—Helen, Andy, Ann, Joe, Margaret, Maryan, John, and Frances Marie “Judy”—as well as her nephews Jerry and John Crawford, and her stepfather, Philip Myronick.
Dotty is survived by her loving son, Jeffrey Meloche; her daughter-in-law, Jan Losby, her treasured granddaughter, Zoe Meloche & her sister-in-Law, Laurel Lecuyer. She also leaves behind many beloved nieces and nephews: Cherylee Crawford, Robert Burdick, Bonnie Tiefel, Jay Posdon, Randy Justus, Sandy Bocchetti, John Douglas Posdon, Amy Posdon, William Lecuyer, and Steven Lecuyer—as well as numerous extended family members and friends.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made in Dotty’s memory to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital
An interment of ashes will take place on Friday, October 17, 2025, at 11:00 am at St. Mary of the Lake Cemetery, 1 Honey Locust St., Lakewood, NJ 08701.
