Edith Koenig
July 7, 1931 – May 12, 2022

Edith Koenig, born in 1931, fled Nazi Germany together with her parents in 1939 and lived in New York City until moving to Four Seasons at Lakewood in 1996. She is survived by her daughter Susan Hassman(husband Ken), grandsons; Adam and David Hassman, stepsons; William Koenig (wife Susan) Ben Koenig, Jake Koenig (wife Ellen), and many greatgrandchildren. Her husband, Harry L. Koenig predeceased her in 2000.
Edith was one-of-a-kind and was loved by many. She was an avid bridge player, golfer and a friend to many. She was a member of the Judiciary Committee at Four Seasons and a former volunteer Mediator for the Ocean County Municipal Court System.
Graveside Services will take place at 12:00PM on Sunday, May 15, 2022 at Cedar Park Cemetery
735 Forest Ave, Paramus, NJ 07652
Shiva will be held at Edith's residence on Sunday, May 15, 2022 from 4:00PM to 8:00PM
In honor of Edith, donations may be made to Deborah Hospital or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital
