What a shock!!!!! I just spent the night before with my sister and we had a great time, laughing and preparing for
 the Super Bowl. She never was into football and she knew I was rooting for the Pittsburgh Steelers. She said she would root for the Steelers too. We planned to have baked chicken and mashed potatoes for the game. Never did I imagine that God would be planning for her arrival into his loving arms the day before the game. Elaine was a sister, a friend, and often a mother to me. We were closer than close and through it all, the good times and the bad, we were always together no matter the weather. i will always remember her beautiful smile, her boisterous laugh, and her quick wit. She never let me down and taught me so much. She loved my family with all of her heart and that always showed. Elaine will never be forgotten for she will always live through me. Elaine, rest on now, for you deserve to do so. Your mission has been completed on earth and I know we will meet again. I will always love you.

You all have lost an incredible friend, wife, mother, and grandma.  For all of us, hearing of Elaine's passing brings a sense of unbelievable loss.  Her life will be forever celebrated as you remember her smile,  vibrancy and her journey through life. This is a very sad moment and we offer our sincerest condolences to everyone in the Bryant household. When Lannie was a baby, Elaine said she wanted to bring her up with love and grace. Elaine's life can be summed up as one lived to the fullest with love and grace. Elaine loved with acceptance and without judgement.
