Eleanor Louise Ricciardi

Eleanor Louise Ricciardi, age 85, of Lakewood, NJ, passed away peacefully on Friday, December 18, 2020 at home.

Eleanor was born on November 28, 1935 in Brooklyn, NY as the daughter of Nancy and Vincent Coschignano. Eleanor was raised in Brooklyn, and she was a longtime resident of Old Bridge, NJ, prior to retiring to Lakewood, NJ, 20 years ago. Eleanor retired from a secretarial position with the North Brunswick Township School System. She was a member of the Fairways Bowling League, and enjoyed spending time with her family and dear friends.

Eleanor is survived by her beloved husband, Carmine Ricciardi; two daughters Christine Hohwald (Steven); and Susan Wei; three grandchildren, Alexis Hohwald, Elizabeth Wei, and Brendan Wei.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, December 21, 2020 at 10:30 a.m. in the St. Mary of the Lake Church, 43 Madison Avenue, Lakewood, NJ 08701. Entombment will be in the Holy Cross Burial Park, 840 Cranbury-South River Road, Jamesburg, NJ 08831. NJ Social Distancing guidelines will be observed and facial coverings will be required.

So sorry to hear of Eleanor's passing. We met in 1961 while working in NYC. While we haven't seen each other in many years, we did keep in touch through FB and Christmas cards.
