

Born in Brooklyn, NY, Elisa resided in Staten Island for many years before settling in the Fairways Community in Lakewood, NJ, in November of 1999.
Elisa was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. She was predeceased by her beloved husband, Valerio “Val” Ferraro; her granddaughter, Valerie Samarelli; and her brother, Anthony Granese.
Elisa enjoyed an active and social life. She loved playing bingo, going bowling, and taking trips to Atlantic City. An avid churchgoer, she was deeply devoted to her faith. Within the Fairways community,
Elisa participated in many clubs and activities, where she made countless lifelong friends. Some of her happiest moments were spent sharing lunch dates and laughter with her dear girlfriends.
She is survived by her beloved children, Diane Bright, Donna Samarelli, and Christine Lamantia; her sons-in-law, Matthew Samarelli, Joseph Lamantia, and John Isenberg; 14 cherished grandchildren; and one precious great-grandchild. Elisa is also survived by her brother, Vincent Granese, and his wife, Camille; her sister-in-law, Madeline Guastella, and many loving nieces and nephews.
Family and friends are invited to attend visitation on Wednesday, November 12, 2025, from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at D’Elia Funeral Home, 1300 Vermont Avenue, Lakewood, NJ 08701.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, November 13, 2025, from 9:15 a.m. to 10:15 a.m. at St. Luke Roman Catholic Church, 1674 Old Freehold Road, Toms River, NJ 08755.
Interment will follow at Calvary Cemetery, 49-02 Laurel Hill Boulevard, New York, NY 11377
