Emily Camerlengo

Emily Camerlengo, 94, passed away July 8, 2014 at her home in Lakewood. Mrs. Camerlengo was born and spent most of her life in West New York before settling in Lakewood for the past 5 years. She worked for the Lever Brothers in Edgewater for many years as a factory worker. She was a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and great great grandmother and will be greatly missed by all. Mrs. Camerlengo is predeceased by her husband Joseph and 9 siblings. Emily is survived by her children, Bernadette Messina, Amy Marrone and Joseph Camerlengo and his wife Susan, 6 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren, 5 great great grandchildren and a sister, Madeline Corlett. Friends may call Friday, July 11, 2014 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm at the D’Elia Funeral Home Rt. 70 & Vermont Ave. Lakewood, NJ 08701. Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, July 12, 2014 at 9:30AM at the funeral home. Entombment will take place at Fairview Cemetery in Fairview. In lieu of flowers please make donations in Emily’s memory to the Alzheimer’s Association.
