Francesco Frank Brunetti

Francesco "Frank" Brunetti was born in Biccari, Foggia, Italy on May 5, 1920, the son of Gabriele and Maria Stampone Brunetti. In 1921 his family immigrated to the United States. Frank was 17 months old. His family settled in Plainfield New Jersey, where Frank grew up and lived for most of his life. He died in Lakewood New Jersey on Thursday November 1, 2001 at the age of 81 years.

He was employed by the United States Postal Service, working at the Summit New Jersey Post Office as a senior clerk. During his years with the Postal Service Frank was a member of the American Postal Workers Union. He retired from the post office in 1984. Upon his retirement he moved to Toms River New Jersey where he lived until 1991 when he moved to Leisure Park in Lakewood.

In June of 1997 he married Joanne Schwoebel.

In January 2001 he and Joanne moved to Jackson New Jersey.

Frank is survived by his wife Joanne Schwoebel, his step-son; Kevin Schwoebel, eight nieces and nephews and eleven grand-nieces and nephews.

Visitation for family and friends was held at the D'Elia Funeral Home, Lakewood New Jersey on Sunday November 4, 2001. A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated at Saint Aloysius Roman Catholic Church, Jackson, New Jersey on Monday November 5, 2001.
