Uncle Frankie: I will forever cherish the memories I have of you and Dad taking us kids to Van Cortlandt Park to ice skate... to the Speedway to catch lightning bugs in glass jars; sleigh riding in the winter... building forts in the snow at 20 Arden Street… crabbing and fishing at the river... singing and partying just for the fun of it... to mention a few. AND, of course, all the amazing meals you made at every family event with the unbelievable card games to the wee hours of the morning that followed. They can never be topped. We may not have been monetarily rich, but we were the richest kids around because of the time and energy you and Dad spent with us. I know heaven is rejoicing now that all of the Desposito's have been reunited, but for us left behind... life will NEVER be the same! So until we meet again, I hope you know how much I have always loved you! Rest in Peace Uncle Frankie, Love Mary Lynn

I worked with your Dad at the Division of Sewer Maintenance until 1982. I have only seen him twice since then, but I certainly lost an old friend. He was a very good man and we will all cherish his memory. My condolences to the family.

To Frank's family,
So sorry to read on Easter Sunday of your dad's passing. I was so fond of both Eileen and Frank. I always admired their great love and respect for each other and loved to hear the beautiful stories of when they met and married. Now he joins the love of his life and they are reunited forever.

There are no words that can describe what you meant to me or what you've done for me in my lifetime. I love you so much Unc, you taught me so many incredible things, and the empty feeling I have now that your gone may never be replaced. You were larger than life to me, and all of your other nieces and nephews too. You were a true one of a kind man, one that someday I hope that I can live up to being half the man that you were in my eyes. Rest in Peace now, until we meet again.....I will throw a line in the water for you. ALL OF MY LOVE TO YOU!! <3
