Genevieve Cappelluzzo

Born in Brooklyn, NY, she resided there until moving to Toms River 17 years ago.

Genevieve was an avid Bingo player and played locally whenever she was not in Atlantic City at the slot machines. She particularly enjoyed Resorts Casino. She loved her sweets and basking in the sun, but most of all, she loved cooking and caring for her family and friends – being a housewife, mother and grandmother.

She was predeceased by her siblings: Vincent, Viola, Filomena and Philip.

Surviving is her loving husband of 67 years, Camellus “Todd;” son, Dennis, of Beachwood; a granddaughter, Carly, of Bayville; a sister, Mildred, of Long Island, NY; and a brother, Michael, of East Brunswick.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday at 8:15AM at D’Elia Funeral Home, Rte. 70 & Vermont Ave., followed by a Mass of Christian burial at 9:15AM at St. Luke’s RC Church, Toms River. Interment will immediately follow at the NJ Veterans Cemetery, Wrightstown.
