Grady Paul Donaldson

Mr. Grady Paul Donaldson Sr was born March 5th 1938 Bulloch County in Statesboro Georgia, to the late Eunice Bessie and George Donaldson. He was called home to be with the Lord on January 21, 2023 at Bayshore Rehabilitation in Holmdel New Jersey after a long term illness. Grady attended Lakewood Public school system, he was employed by lakewood Township School. Grady was a member at Greater Bethel Church of God In Christ under Pastor Louis O Rogers and later became member of Evangelistic Center Church Ministries under Pastor Willie Swift. He loved sports and coached baseball, football and basketball. His hobby was bowling and mentoring seniors at Ocean Lanes. Grady was predeceased by both his parents Eunice and George Donaldson, two brothers George Jr and Floyd and his sister Grace. Those who remain to cherish his memories are his devoted Wife of 54 years Carrie English Donaldson. His son Grady Paul Donaldson Jr. (Rakisha Donaldson), his two grandchildren; Jaleen, Kassidy, his God Daughter and several nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of family and friends. A visitation for Grady will be held Friday, January 27, 2023 from 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM at D'Elia Funeral Home, Route 70 & Vermont Avenue, Lakewood, NJ 08701. A funeral service will occur Friday, January 27, 2023 from 10:30 AM to 12:30 PM, Route 70 & Vermont Avenue, Lakewood, NJ 08701. An interment will occur Friday, January 27, 2023 from 1:00 PM to 1:30 PM at Greenwood Cemetery, Cedar Bridge Ave, Lakewood, NJ 08701. Grady will be laid to rest in Greenwood Cemetery , Lakewood , NJ.
