

Greg Thomas Siano, age 72, of Jacksonville, Florida, passed away on August 29, 2025, surrounded by his children. He was born in Patterson, NJ, and grew up in Toms River, NJ. Greg lived in Patterson, Toms River, Little Silver, and Millstone in New Jersey, as well as Santa Fe, New Mexico, and Jacksonville, Florida. His final residence was in Jacksonville. He met and fell in love with his wife, Elaine, at first sight in the early 1970s. He married Elaine on November 24, 1974, and they shared 46 years of marriage. Greg and Elaine raised five children: three step-children from Elaine’s first marriage and two adopted children. Greg worked in various construction businesses before purchasing and running the Farmingdale Hardware Store in Farmingdale, NJ, for 26 years. In retirement, he managed rental properties until 2024. He loved refurbishing classic cars, tinkering in his garage, and caring for his “little jungle.” He enjoyed watching movies and, during his retirement, became a coffee enthusiast.
He is preceded in death by his mother, Norma Siano; father, Patsey Siano; wife, Elaine Siano; beloved dog, Lola Siano; and many aunts and uncles.
Surviving Greg are his brother Thomas Siano and sister-in-law Phyliss Siano, daughter Erika Stahl, son William Siano, daughter-in-law Marquita Siano, stepdaughter Lynn Wells, stepsons John and Michael Schober, grandchildren Emma Swick, Seraphina Swick, and Chancey Siano, and many nephews, nieces, and step-grandchildren.
A Memorial Service will be held for family and friends at D’Elia Funeral Home, located at the corner of Route 70 and Vermont Avenue (1300 Vermont Avenue, Lakewood, NJ 08701), from 1 to 4 p.m. on Sunday, September 21, 2025. A burial service will be held at Saint Mary of the Lake Cemetery and Mausoleums, One Honey Locust Drive, on Monday, September 22, 2025, at 11:00 a.m.
