Born in Trenton, he resided in Brick before settling in Toms River in 1997.
Prior to retiring in 1996, Harry was the manager of the Broadway Café in Point Pleasant, where he worked for many years.
Harry was a Navy veteran, having served from 1943-1946. He was part of the amphibious forces in the South Pacific and was involved in the invasion of the Philippines and Borneo. He was also an active member of the Ocean County Baptist Church in Toms River.
Surviving are his sons: Harry, of Jackson, NJ; and Richard, of Morrisville, PA; 1 grandson, Logan; and other relatives and friends.
A graveside service will be held on Thursday at 2:30PM at the Brigadier General William C. Doyle Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Wrightstown.
