Helen M Koprowski

She was employed by the Internal Revenue Service and retired in 1977, as Chief Auditor in the Appellate Division. She received several awards for her adopted suggestions and on retirement received the prestigious Albert Gallatin award for outstanding performance. She loved Classical Music and was a professional singer, until her employment during W.W.II with the Federal Government.

She was pre-deceased by her husband William who was a concert pianist/teacher. Surviving is her 4 nephews, 2 nieces, many grand and great grand nieces and nephews.

She most recently attended St. Dominic’s Church in Brick Township.

Visitation will be held Wednesday September 21st from 4 to 7 pm at the D’Elia Funeral Home Rt. 70 & Vermont Ave; Lakewood, NJ 08701. A Funeral mass will be held on Thursday September 22 at 9:00 am, St. Dominic’s Church, 250 Old Squan Rd; Brick, NJ 08724. Entombment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery in North Arlington, NJ.

In Lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Leisure Village Health Care Center, 19 Buckingham Dr, Lakewood, NJ 08701.
