Born in Bronx, NY, he resided in Matawan before finally settling in Toms River 18 years ago.
Prior to retiring, he was self employed, managing his own retail store in South Orange, NJ.
Surviving is his wife of 39 years, Helga; a son, Michael and his wife Jody of Mesa, AZ; and granddaughters Jennifer & Kristina. Jack was an avid bocce player and also loved billiards.
Friends may call at D’Elia Funeral Home, Rte. 70 & Vermont Ave., Lakewood on Friday from 3-7PM.
