James Nelson Van Arsdale, 80, passed away January 12, 2015 at Willow Springs Care Center in Brick, NJ. Mr. Van Arsdale was born in Point Pleasant. He served in the US Army for 3 years before working as a mechanic for many years for Peterbuilt in Jackson, NJ. James also worked for the Lakewood Country Club and was a member of the American Legion Post #166 in Lakewood. He was a loving father, brother and brother- in-law and will be greatly missed by all. Mr. Van Arsdale is predeceased by his wife Beverly. James is survived by his daughter Jennifer Wade, Sister, Rosemanry Bush, Brother Jack Van Arsdale and his wife Diane and many nieces and nephews.
