Our time together was far too short, but Jane's impact on me will carry on. Thank you for helping to craft Laura (and Lynn and Chris) into such a wonderful person.

Dear Jane,
I think of you so very often because you have left footprints on my heart.  You were my colleague, my mentor and my friend.  You were kind to everyone - you had a heart of gold.  I truly believe you are giving love and support to all those in heaven with you and I know we will meet again.  Miss you so very much.

Mom, I love and miss you everyday. We talk about you and to you all the time.i know your flying around us with your sparkly sewn angel wings.  I wish this was an email where you could respond. You were a great mother and sadly missed. I find myself saying the same things you would say to the kids. That is how I know you still live inside of all the people you have touched throughout your life. I dream of you frequently and miss our kitchen table conversations.

Mrs. Reilly was my daughter's first teacher at Holy Family School in 1982. We remember her with love, laughter and admiration. I ran into Jane many times over the years and I always enjoyed these encounters. She always asked about my girls... even after they married and had their own children. My grandaughters and Brielle were in the Jackson Dance Center recitals and Jane and I looked for each other in the audience. My prayers are with her family. Our lives were enriched by knowing her and she will be missed.

Jane was a special person, unique and so talented.  She would light up any
room with warmth and love.  I loved her and she will always remain a special

I had the pleasure of knowing Mrs. Reilly from HFS.  She was an amazing teacher, making every child feel special and was truly an inspiration.  Her passion for teaching went beyond the classroom.  I can remember after my grandmother died (year after I'd left HFS) she ran into me at the mall and told me how much she loved my grandmother and comforted me.  It is one of my fondest memories of her and a shining example of her love.  She will be greatly missed

Jane was a one of a kind person who brought joy to those who knew her.  She was a true and loyal friend and I will miss her beyond words.  Her joy lives on in her children and grandchildren.  My thoughts and prayers are with Jim and her family.

Mrs. Reilly brought my friend Laura into this world and for that I owe her plenty. May you rest in peace.

I am a teacher at St. Aloysius School, and I taught one of "Grandma Jane's" grandchildren.  She made special gifts for all the students in the class for each holiday. (In fact, I have on a shirt she made for me today.)  I was so sad to hear of her passing.  She had such a caring, generous heart and she shared that with all those who met her.  May you find comfort in the many memories you have and know that she touched many, many lives.

Mrs. Reilly was my kindergarten teacher over 15 years ago and one of the best teachers I've ever had. This world would be a better place if more teachers cared the way she did and I'll always appreciate the positive impact she had so early in my life.  I remember one time she saw an article in the newspaper about me years after I was in her class and she wrote me such an amazing letter about it.  She was a wonderful, thoughtful, and kind person and will definitely be missed.  Heaven is lucky to have one more angel.

Hey, Ma, you know how you always wanted to make everyone care about the little things in life by leading by example and showing people that everything matters? I had the pleasure of working side by side with Jane for many years at Holy Family School, as her assistant.  She was an enthusiastic teacher and a dear friend.  Her heart was always in the right place and she reached out to anyone in need.  She touched so many lives so beautifully and will be missed by all.  Rest in peace with our Lord, whom you served so well.  Our sincere sympathy to Jim, Lynn (and her family), Chris and Laura.

My condolences and prayers go out to Elaine, Jimmy and Jane's family. I knew Jane during our college years. It's been forty years since I last saw her but her smile remains a vivid memory. She was smart, gentle, unpretentious, funny and a leader. She took “the crowd” from Ninth Avenue and Windsor Place to see the Beatles at Shea, The Monkees (and Jimmy Hendrix) at Forest Hills, and to Manhattan Beach and we willingly followed. She liked dancing, Lenny's pizza, cherry cokes, movies, teaching, and ice cream at Jahn's. She was loyal to her family and her friends. She's gone too soon.

So, so many happy memories of Jane! Where do I even being??  How about the "Sweet Sixteen" party I had for my Airedale Terrier, "Tink"? Jane jumped right in and got into the puppy dog party spirit by coming to my house with a "chop meat birthday cake" and a milkbone corsage.  She even created party hats shaped like dog ears made out of brown paper bags. It was a wonderful time for all of us! 
And now I picture my friend, Jane, conducting this HUGE craft class with even God Himself sitting at the table eager to learn something new!  Rest in peace my friend!  You've touched all our lives in ways you could not have possibly imagined!

Dear Jane, Loving Angel and Precious Friend,
Thank you for being the most wonderful friend anyone could possibly imagine. You were always there-to share lunch, to teach me a new trick on the embroidery machine, to comfort me when my mom passed away, to share my joy at my own wedding and my daughter's too, or just for a little talk after work. You always had the time to give; always generous, giving others gifts you made with your own hands, always willing to lend a hand or an ear. We were such good friends, and you will go on being my forever friend; It doesn't matter if you're here on Earth, or up in Heaven, I know you will always be right here beside me. Friends forever! I've known Jane since the mid-60's, through high school, college,  changing of hair color,‘crowd' parties, Pookie and onion dip, and just being Jane. My wife and I doubled-dated on our first date with Jane and Jim in his old VW. We'll miss her and always remember her.

Jane was such a caring and giving woman. We will never forget how special she made our wedding day by putting her crafty self to work and making the flower girls dresses by hand. She will always be thought of with a smile.

I had the amazing opportunity of having Mrs. Reilly as a teacher for my first year at Holy Family School (3rd grade). She was always so kind, sweet, helpful, and cared very deeply about each and every one of her students. Whether was receiving one of her "almost honor roll" certificates, or just simply getting a friendly smile, Mrs. Reilly always made a point to make each of her students feel special. My thoughts and prayers go out to her family during this very difficult time.

We are so very sorry to hear of the passing of "Grandma Jane".  She was a wonderful woman whose love for her grandchildren and family shown in everything she has done.  We will never forget all of her special touches she did to make the holidays special for us and the children Immanuel Lutheran. Mrs. Reilly was an amazing teacher (I had her for 2nd grade).  She knew how to make every child feel special and I still have many of the "awards" I won that year.

Jane was one of the most thoughtful people I have ever had the pleasure of knowing. Her life was one of quiet, loving acts of kindness. She was always doing something thoughtful for someone. She was an excellent teacher who was adored by her students. It was a privilege to work with her at Holy Family School. From making "Stone Soup" to applesauce in celebration of Johnny Appleseed Day, Jane made her classroom a great place to learn. Our thoughts and prayers are with the Reilly family as they entrust her to the tender embrace of God.

It was wonderful working with you at HFS and I'll always remember your "Smile", your kindness & generosity.  You were a part of my life in many ways, showers, weddings and Christmas Eves.  Your more than just a friend, you were part of Our Family and you'll be missed.

I worked together with Jane at Holy Family School for 8 years.  She was always upbeat and smiling, friend to all and never had a bad word to say about anyone.  She was my daughter's second grade teacher and she made quite an impression on her young mind and, I'm sure, all the young minds she helped to mold over the years.

Im so glad Mr n Mrs Reilly were in Florida with us and we got to share Christmas dinner together. She was so happy to be with her family. (She enjoyed her dessert n the shakes) she will be missed but not forgotten : )
