Jean was born on May 22, 1956 in New York City to the late Joseph and Theresa. She is survived by her brother, Gerard (Jerry) Schweitzer (Linda) of Tucson, Arizona & her sister, Maryann Schweitzer (Jonathan) of Tinton Falls, New Jersey.
Jean graduated from Jackson Memorial High school, Jackson, N.J. She was a floral designer for Acme Supermarkets.
Jean loved nature, the great outdoors. She enjoyed running, biking, gardening, cooking, playing the flute and the guitar.
A memorial gathering will take place on August 21, 2025 at 10:30 am at D'Elia Funeral Home; 1300 Vermont Ave, Lakewood, NJ 08701. A graveside service will follow beginning at 11:00 am at the St. Mary of the Lake Cemetery; 1 Honey Locust Dr, Lakewood, NJ 08701.
