Jose A. Galarza Martinez

Jose A. Galarza Martinez, 65, passed away October 4, 2012 at Virtua Memorial Hospital in Mount Holly. Mr. Galarza Martinez was born in Puerto Rico and lived in Lakewood for the past 15 years. He served in the United States Army during the Panama Conflict. Jose worked as a police officer for 20 years in Puerto Rico. He was known for keeping his car meticulously clean. He was a loving father and grandfather and will be greatly missed by all. Mr. Galarza Martinez is predeceased by his parents Basilio and Obdulia, brother Alba and sister Israel. Jose is survived by his five children, Mariannette Galarza, Marieinett Galarza, Jose Carlos Galarza, Jose Abner Galarza and Kiryat Yarmin Galarza, 18 grandchildren, six siblings, Ana Sara Galarza Martinez, Carlos Galarza Martinez, Otilia Galarza Martinez, Juan Galarza Martinez, Baltazar Galarza Martinez, and Zenaida Galarza Martinez and many other relatives and friends. Friends may call Tuesday, October 9, 2012 from 6-10 pm at the D’Elia Funeral Home Rt. 70 & Vermont Ave. Lakewood, NJ 08701. Interment will take place in Puerto Rico.
