Mr. Butler was employed by the Ocean County Road Department and Manchester Township.
He enjoyed darts, billiards, The Yankees and The Eagles. He was also a fisherman.
Mr. Butler was predeceased by his parents Clarence and Golda (Brown) Butler and his brother Richard. He is survived by his son, Joseph Butler, Jr.; nieces & nephews and his former wife Dolores Butler.
Funeral services will be private.
