On February 28th, Lenny Jackson passed away at home, surrounded by his family. He was born in Plainfield, NJ on September 10th, 1956, to Janet Gawrych and Charles Jackson. At the age of 10 he moved to Howell, NJ where he was raised by his mother and stepfather, Benjamin Gawrych. Lenny was a graduate of Howell High School and a Master Carpenter by trade. He has been a Howell resident for 55 years.
Lenny was blessed with a large and loving family. He married the love of his life and best friend, Maryann of 39 years. He helped raise his three beautiful children with love, compassion and understanding. He instilled morals and traditions that will forever be passed along. He created memories for his children and grandchildren to forever hold onto.
Lenny was extremely talented; he had an exceptionally keen eye for detail. He always had time to give a helping hand and could answer any question or solve any problem, no matter how big or small. Lenny enjoyed the little things in life and had an amazing sense of humor.
He is preceded in death by his mother, Janet Gawrych and father, Charles Jackson. Lenny is survived by his wife, Maryann, his daughter Taylor and husband John, son Matthew and girlfriend Maxine, daughter Mikayla and husband Vinny, his grandchildren, Skylar, Addison, and Cayden. Along with his brother, Marc Garwych and sister Lenore and husband Bill Kuter, and many nieces, nephews, and life long friends. He is loved beyond measure and will be dearly missed. His legacy will forever live on, in all of us.
Relatives and friends will be received from 1:00 to 5:00 p.m. on Sunday, March 6, 2022 at the D'Elia Funeral Home, 1300 Vermont Avenue, Lakewood, N.J.
