Leo E. Tolstyk

Born in Jersey City, he resided in Metuchen before settling in the Four Seasons Connunity of Lakewood in 1997.

Prior to retiring, he was an engineer for the Port Authority in NYC for over 30 years.

He was predeceased by his wife Mary Ellen in 1988.

Surviving is his wife of 18 years, Eleanore; a son: Jeffrey Tolstyk of Thailand; a daughter: Sharon Pererra and her husband Randy of Scotsdale, AZ 3 step-children: Marc Resnick of CT, Douglas Resnick of Lawrenceville, and Lisa Escaloni of Keller, TX; and 6 grandchildren: Merlin, Ryan, Daniel, Jack, Max, and Jonah.

A visitation will be held at D’Elia Funeral Home, 1300 Vermont Ave., Lakewood, on Friday from 9-11:30AM. Friends and family are invited to share stories and memories during this time.
