Lucille Taylor

Lucille Taylor, age 86, of Lakewood, New Jersey passed away on Monday January 6, 2020. Lucille was born and raised in Port-of-Spain, Trinidad and Tobago. She moved to St. Croix in 1968 before settling in Lakewood, NJ since 1972. Mrs. Taylor worked for Woodlake Country Club and Hollywood Country Club for a combined 24 years as a Hospitality Representative. She was n avid reader and shopper. Lucille was a passionate cook and was known for her Caribbean dishes. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and friend and will be greatly missed by all.

Mrs. Taylor is predeceased by her parents, Christine and Jimmy and brother, Patrick Scott.

She is survived by her husband of 65 years, Freddie; daughters, Bianca, Cheryl, Dawn and Tracey; grandchildren, Shelby, Vidia, Siobhan, Elizabeth, Aliyah, Cameron, Brianna, Jewel and Arinee; great grandchildren, Arjuna, Milanya, Asia, Kiaira, Marve and Taylor; in addition to numerous other relatives and friends.

Funeral gathering will be held on Saturday, January 11, 2020 from 1-3PM at the D'Elia Funeral Home 1300 Vermont Ave. Lakewood, NJ 08701. Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, January 11, 2020 at 3PM at the funeral home. Cremation will be held privately.
