

Born in Hoboken, she lived in Flanders, N.J. before moving to Toms River in 2009.
She had worked as a secretary for the Maxwell House Corporation in Hoboken, N.J. for 25 years before her retirement.
Margaret was an avid reader and loved to do crossword puzzles. She loved spending time with her family and was a wonderful homemaker.
She was a member of the Blue Stone Mystic Tie Masonic Lodge F&AM #35 Eastern Star.
She was pre-deceased by her husband of 59 years, Ronald Walter Gwinnett in September 2021 and a grand-daughter, Janine Pfitzner.
She is survived by a daughter, Colleen Szarek and her husband, Michael, three grandchildren, Richard Pfitzner, (Jeannie) Tyler Szarek, and Kandice Szarek, (Frank) three great-grandchildren, Michael, Frank, and Tiffany (Ethan) and three great-great grandchildren, Mason, Kataleya and Brynley. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends may call from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. on Tuesday, July 26, 2022 at the D'Elia Funeral Home, 1300 Vermont Avenue, Lakewood, N.J. A funeral service will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Tuesday, July 26th at the D'Elia Funeral Home followed by the entombment at Ocean County Memorial Park, Mausoleum, Toms River, N.J.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association.
